This book review analyses key themes in Dina Gilio-Whitaker’s book, “As Long As Grass Grows” and discusses Gilio-Whitaker’s holistic account of Indigenous environmental justice structured within contemporary and historical timelines, and highlights the work still required to decolonise knowledge production which continues to dictate social, environmental and legal systems.
