Our Values

  1. We are guided by impact.
  • The solutions and outcomes we strive for concern real lives. This means that we acknowledge the potential weight of our actions in the short- and long-term.
  • Each lived reality of climate-induced displacement requires a customised response.
  • Though the effects of climate change are manifesting quickly, we will not compromise the quality of our solutions by matching their speed.
  1. We advocate that human rights are absolute.
  • We hold that they are indivisible, and must champion equality within the protection of climate migrants.
  • We do not condone discrimination of any form on the basis of race, ethnicity, gender, nationality, disability, or sexual orientation. We intend for our team to represent the global community that we serve.
  • We are sensitive to the moral values, religion, customs, traditions, and culture of the communities we serve.
  1. We uphold climate justice.
  • We believe in anti-environmental racism and the power of Indigenous peoples,  women, and other marginalised groups to spearhead this movement and the rights of future generations.
  • We strive to reduce our footprint, taking an ethical, inclusive, conscious, and caring approach towards achieving environmental sustainability.
  1. We believe in cooperation beyond boundaries.
  • Climate-induced change and its impact on the human condition is a problem that requires a collective response.
  • We are fully aware that some sources have contributed significantly more to the problem, but we are not here to point an accusatory finger.
  • We are here to bring about collective and practical solutions.
  1. We deny that lawyers are the gatekeepers of justice.
  • The rights of an individual exist independent of legal representation.
  • We aspire to provide legal solutions through consultation with affected communities, and to present them in a comprehensive and accessible manner.
